A Cyborg Sci-fi Romance
The Terran Empire is at war with The Rhimodian cyborgs. The Terrans believe the cyborgs have stolen a system of planets from them. At least, that's how it started.
It degenerated into hatred and fear.
◆Book 2 in the Galactic Storm Series◆
Lady in Waiting Freya will always support the Terran Imperial Princess Caoimhe. Including on her mission of peace.
Even if it seems fruitless.
The Rhimodians will not yield and the Terran Empire will not stop. When Freya is nearly killed en route to the negotiations, she winds up with on ally to get her to the peace talks.
The Rhimodian, Kian.
He must get the petite Terran to safety. A simple program. Master System insists. His people’s future depends on it.
He must be careful, though. The Craving is growing and with every moment he spends with her, it gets stronger.
If she keeps looking at him like that, she will break his protocols.

This is a fab addition to the series and I'm loving the characters and their desperate plight. Peace is vital to both the Terrans and the Rhimodians but things are being sabotaged. Freya, the princess' lady in waiting, has her hands full trying to survive with Rhimodian, Kian, and their path is beset with mercenaries and betrayal. It's a gripping read and while this couple find an HEA, there is an overarching plot that's got me salivating for the next book. So much more to happen in this series and I can't wait. Good fun!

Well, I didn't see that coming.
I was thoroughly enjoying the book, and just when I thought I had figured out where the plot was going, BAM, Candice threw in some fantastic twists and turns and left me with quite the cliff hanger!
Her storytelling draws you in, and you can’t help but fall in love with the characters. Lady Freya and Kian were a delight to read. I don’t think any of the training for their respective roles prepared them for the situation they were thrown into.
Space, not enough room for all of us, or is there?
Candice makes space feel like next door, but with hotter neighbors.
