Updating Cover Art is important
So I went on a quest this last year to update a lot of my cover art on my backlist, for better branding and better series cohesion.
My latest changes in my book cover art?
The Mythicals of Avalon Series
(Formerly just The Mythicals)
I wanted to do something more in line with the Guys and Godmothers books, since these books are direct spin-offs of the Guys and Godmothers.
The reason they’re not in the Guys and Godmothers Series?
Because they’re technically not “Guys with Fairy Godmothers.” Characters criss-cross in both series, but it’s not the same motif, or concept. Same world, same rules, etc, but it’s more, well, magical than the Guys and Godmothers series.
I felt like, because the magical side was so much more prevalent in these stories, it was important to separate them from the base concept of the Guys with Fairy Godmothers.
PSST: If you want more Guys and Godmothers or Mythicals of Avalon, drop me a note!
I’d love to do more in this world, but because the stories are a little more unique, they don’t always get the love they should. So if you do want to see more, let me know. I can see if I can squeeze some in.
And I must mention, there will be some more, new cover art reveals later this year as well. (No, I’m not touching the Mythical Knights series, lol)
And I’m hoping to release more books later this year as well.
That’s what it’s really all about, isn’t it? More new books? Right?
