Since I always do what the Avengers say.... ⋆ Candice Gilmer, Author of Fantastic Romance

I’ve been doing a lot of writing lately. Got one project that I’m very close to finishing up, like maybe just a few more days, and I’ll have it all sparkly and finished, which will be good, one less thing on my to-do list.

The Avengers watch over my writing on a regular basis, and boy are they slave drivers! 🙂

I have another project I’ve been playing with too, and I need to get it done, preferably by March 1, so I can get it in with my publisher. It shouldn’t be too bad, it’s a short story, so I should be okay.

Then there’s that other project that’s been digging deep into my sub conscience that I’m still sort of world-building, because it will be a very big world, with lots of hooks and pointy things that will take some careful excavating before I start writing it.  My good friend AE Rought is just foaming at the bit for this one, but I have to get other stuff done first. Hopefully I can dig in by April and really give it a whirl.

Gives me time to flesh out the world building when I’m not actually writing.

See, that’s the thing about writers. We may not be in front of the keyboard, but we’re writing. We could be folding clothes, washing dishes, vacuuming  any of those things, and we’re still writing, because we’re working things out in our heads. Sometimes (okay, a lot of the time) talking to ourselves as we work out details.

A personal assistant that just wanders around, taking down details of what we say would be awesome too. Then we wouldn’t have to scramble for a notepad to scribble it down when a brilliant idea comes to us.

If I get “AE’s Project” (as I have decided it will be called) done this year, I have room, maybe, to get one other one done by the end of the year. Maybe two, depending on how hard “AE’s Project” winds up being.

ANd I’m going to try to do blog posts at least twice a week too. (Stop laughing, I really am) The plan is to write several at a time, so I can spread them out and post them at regular intervals. We’ll see how that goes.

By the way, new project, Under His Nose, the first in the Guys and Godmothers series, I’ve seen the cover art… It is totally awesome.  I will be posting it as soon as I get the “okay.”

That’s my latest this week. Hope you and yours are having a good week too.
