What happened to summer break? I know that’s what all the kids are saying and for the first time, I think I’m saying the same thing too. I ‘m just stunned it’s already time for the kids to go back to school.

Heck, I’m not ready for any of it yet. I barely got anything done this summer, or so it feels like, anyway. I had wanted to do so many things with the kiddos.

One of which was going to the zoo more–we have a great zoo, and I wanted to go at least once a week, just so we weren’t lying about the house all day every day. That didn’t work out like I wanted.

Of course, I ‘m really good at coming up with things to do that don’t involve leaving the house.

Me, before coffee, and after chocolate

And now there’s this new beta of WordPress that I have GOTTA play with. Because, heck yeah. 🙂 The editor is very much like the newish Facebook docs system. Pretty close, actually. Smoother blocks to work with, and I’m all about smoother. 🙂

I’m working on my Barrum, Ks books — Just released The Reluctant Prince, am working on the Celestial Springs Salon series (book 2 is getting revamped, so book 3 makes more sense) and I have plans to release a new holiday story this winter.

And print books. (I’m putting my Christmas books, Mission of Christmas and Not a Gentleman’s Christmas in print this fall) And appearances. So yeah, been busy.

Really think I could have used another week or three of Summer Break.

Hope your summer has been great. 🙂
